IMPORTANT NOTICE: It is crucial to note there is no fishing allowed on Glenbuck Loch, Greenock Water or Garpel Waters. Any ticket sales for these areas is strictly illegal and should be immediately reported to the Secretary, an Association official, or any Committee Member.

Ticket Prices
The following are the ticket prices for the 2025 season. These prices are applicable for day tickets and permits that are purchased at the River Ayr. For our local members, there are discounted prices, and we offer free tickets for children under certain conditions. Please review the ticket types below

Day Tickets are only available for purchase from Monday to Friday during the 2025 season from the garage in Muirkirk.
How to Obtain Your Tickets
Tickets for Muirkirk Angling Association are available for purchase in two ways:
In-Person at Muirkirk Garage: You can purchase 2025 Day Tickets directly from the garage in Muirkirk. Please note that Day Tickets will only be available from Monday to Friday, day tickets on a Saturday and Sunday are no longer permitted. This is the preferred method for those looking to buy a ticket for a single day of fishing.
Permit Renewals: Season 2024 permit holders should email us.

Waiting List
If you're someone who would like to fish at Muirkirk, please note that there is often a waiting list for our visiting anglers. To secure a spot, it's advisable to contact the Ticket Secretary in advance. The Ticket Secretary can provide you with more information regarding the waiting list and availability for the upcoming season. This process ensures that all visitors have fair access to our fishing locations while maintaining the quality of the experience for everyone.
