IMPORTANT NOTICE: It is crucial to note there is no fishing allowed on Glenbuck Loch, Greenock Water or Garpel Waters. Any ticket sales for these areas is strictly illegal and should be immediately reported to the Secretary, an Association official, or any Committee Member.

Prices below are the 2026 prices for day tickets and season permits. These prices are applicable for day tickets and permits that are purchased for the River Ayr. For our local members, there are discounted prices, and we offer free tickets for children under certain conditions. Please review the ticket types below:

Additional Ticket Information

Our tickets are available in several categories, designed to cater to the needs of different types of anglers. The "Local" tickets are offered at a discounted rate to residents of the Muirkirk area, while "Visiting" tickets are for anglers who come from outside the area. Visiting juveniles are free for children under 16, but they must always be accompanied by a paying adult.

In addition to our regular permits, we offer Day Tickets that can be purchased at the start of the fishing season. These tickets are a fantastic option for casual anglers who wish to enjoy the River Ayr for a single day without committing to a full season permit. Day Tickets can be collected directly from the local garage in Muirkirk, but please ensure you purchase them early, as demand can be high during peak fishing seasons.

How to Obtain Your Tickets

Tickets for Muirkirk Angling Association are available for purchase in two ways:

Day Tickets: In-Person at Muirkirk Garage from 15th March 2026.

Permit Renewals: Season 2026 permits are on sale. Please contact the Secretary for more information.
