Welcome to the Member Returns page of the Muirkirk Angling Association. As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of management and ensuring that all members enjoy a safe, sustainable, and enjoyable angling experience, we require all members to complete a return form each season.

The Member Return is an essential part of the process for maintaining our records, ensuring that all our members' details are up to date, and facilitating the continued health of the waters we fish in. This return form helps the committee assess the current state of the fishing waters and plan for future seasons.

PLEASE READ AND ABIDE BY ALL THE RULES

It is crucial that all members familiarize themselves with and follow the rules and regulations set out by the Muirkirk Angling Association. These rules are in place not only to protect the interests of anglers but also to preserve the health of the River Ayr and its wildlife for future generations.

We ask that you take the time to read through the full set of rules, available on the River Ayr Rules page, as adherence to these rules is a condition of membership. If you are unsure about any rule or would like further clarification, do not hesitate to contact us.

Return Forms and Submission Guidelines

Every member is required to complete a return form at the end of the fishing season. These forms are distributed along with your Season Permit, ensuring that you receive them well in advance of the deadline. Filling out and submitting the return form is mandatory and helps us maintain accurate membership records and planning for future seasons.

The completed return form must be submitted to the Secretary no later than 15th November each year. This allows the committee enough time to review all submissions and make necessary updates to the membership list and operational plans for the upcoming year.

What to Include in Your Member Return

The Member Return form will require you to provide the following information:

• Your full name and membership number
• Your contact details (phone number, email, address)
• Details of any fishing activity or catches during the past season
• Feedback on the current fishing season (e.g., what you liked, what improvements could be made)
• Any voluntary support or contributions you may have made to the association (e.g., participating in clean-ups, maintenance work, etc.)
• Confirmation that you have read and understood the River Ayr Rules

Please take care when filling out the form to ensure that all the information is accurate. Missing or incomplete forms may delay the renewal process and may impact your ability to renew your membership for the next season.

Submitting Your Return Form

Once completed, please return the form to the Secretary at the address provided on the form. If you are unsure about where to send your return or need any assistance, please contact us, and we will be happy to guide you through the process.

Remember, submitting your return form by the deadline is critical. If we do not receive your form by the 15th of November, you may face delays in renewing your membership or securing a place on the waiting list for the following season.

All Members Will Receive a Return Form with Your Season Permit

As a part of your membership, you will receive your Member Return form along with your season permit at the start of the fishing season. The return form will be clearly marked and will include instructions on how to complete and submit it. Please keep an eye on your mail, as the forms will be sent to the address we have on file for you.

We understand that some of you may not be able to complete the form immediately or may have questions along the way.
